Glenn Reid’s single “Another Hank Williams Night” spent 14 straight weeks on the European Country Music Association’s Top 100 chart, hitting the top 10 in Germany, France, and Italy and attaining #1 in Sweden. His music tells the stories of himself and his fellow countrymen and women, from coast to coast.
Glenn is currently completing his 4th CD due the summer of 2013. A 4 song EP called "Chetwynd Girls" and limited edition t-shirt are now available in advance of the complete CD.
Glenn has been writing and performing for over thirty years in everything from small clubs to concert arenas. His influences span a wide range. His father Crawford was a jazz drummer that played shows with, amongst others, the great Louis Armstrong. His mother Greta was a guest dancer on the old “Don Messer’s Jubilee” on CBC, which would account for Glenn’s occasional country bent, and his brothers and he were into everything from Elvis Presley and the Beatles to Sinatra and Lightfoot. All of those musical styles meshed together in Glenn’s writing over the years to become a unique style of his own, present on his solo efforts, the CDs “Workin’ Man”, “I’m In”, and “Keep On Walkin’”
